Performance issues with loading various pages in LMS365

Root Cause Analysis

The incident was caused by the latest LMS365 release that brought out changes to the product’s functionality.

Resolution

Our engineering team developed a quick fix of the product code and deployed it to all regions so that reported issues won’t affect other customers.

Remediation items

1. Determined scope of additional testing to eliminate possibility of facing similar issues.
2. Identified an improvement on redistributing cloud resources to ensure smooth performance for the customers.

We are happy to report that the hotfix was deployed to address the situation with degraded performance of various pages on SharePoint sites with LMS365 web parts and in LMS365 Admin Center. However, we will continue monitoring until we have received the confirmation that aforementioned issues are fully resolved.

Our engineering team has identified issues with the course catalog web part on SharePoint pages and failed API requests during course editing.

We continue to work to resolve these issues for customers in North Europe and United States regions, we will keep providing updates as soon as we have further information.
