What's New in the Human Success Platform - July 2024

We are excited to share the latest and greatest feature updates with the Human Success Platform at Zensai!

Check out what's new this month:

AI Content Generation Enhanced Capabilities

We've heard feedback on how useful the content generation features are with many customers uploading documents or videos to create quizzes or to generate courses. An especially interesting use case from a customer was to upload a recording of a webinar to repurpose that event content for those who didn’t attend.

Now, with access to the content generation AI features, we've made a few improvements this release:

  1. Ability to upload text up to 70000 characters
  2. Ability to upload video in multiple, popular formats [with a video size limit of 500MB]

AI Fair Use Policy

As AI usage increases, we want to ensure we set and maintain legal and ethical standards for all our customers. To that end, we have incorporated a Trustworthy AI data processing agreement.

This agreement promises that the processor only applies trustworthy AI systems. The standard of trustworthiness requires that all AI tools in any form throughout their entire lifecycle must qualify as lawful, ethical, and robust.

What this means for you is that you will need to accept the AI Amendment via a checkbox under 'AI features' to change any AI settings in your Zensai product. If you’ve already started using the AI features, you agree with our policy and do not need to take any further action.

To agree and enable AI features:

Navigate to Global Settings > LMS Configuration > AI features to see the amendment.

AI Feature Accessibility and Limits

We believe in the power of AI for every Zensai customer, so all organizations can access important AI-powered features. However, your Learn365 subscription plan determines the scope of the features available to you. For information about the AI-powered features available in each Learn365 subscription plan, see this article.

With this release, we've also launched an "AI Usage" tracker which will state your individual subscription allowance of AI requests per month to help you understand your current usage.

If you reach an AI usage limit in a month, contact your CSM to learn more about how to upgrade, or await the start of a new month when your usage limit returns to 0.

Skills Improvements

Ability to Edit Due Dates on Individual Learner Records

With this release, we're now able to offer the catalog administrator the ability to edit due dates on individual enrollments. From the learner progress panel, the administrator can modify the enrollment due dates in case of sickness, holiday, or other exceptions for an individual learner.

Global Property for Target Skills Rules

Many L&D and HR teams struggle with the complexity of creating a skills framework, especially in larger organizations. They will often start by choosing a few skills that every employee requires. AI for example, or skills that align to company values. To make this first step as simple as possible, administrators can now use Learn365 to assign a skill to every employee in just a few clicks.

To simplify the process of setting up target skills for any skill that each employee in the company is required to have, administrators now can assign target skills globally to all employees.

To enable a global skill requirement, simply toggle on "This target skill rule applies to all users"

Filter Target Skills by Category in the Training Dashboard

As a final update to the Skills Framework for the July release, we've improved the ability to review the skills gap under a learner's training dashboard. If you already have employees tracking dozens of skills, this release brings an enhancement to make it easier for them to visualize progress towards their varied skills goals. By filtering their skills by category they will more easily visualize their skills and proficiency levels on either the spider diagram (between 3 and 20 skills) or the bar chart (1 or 2 skills, and 21 or more).

Learners can now:

  1. Show skills from a specific category only
  2. Show gaps by skill categories

These improvements will help learners visualize areas of improvement, identify new goals for growth, and understand their current progress on skill proficiencies.

Multiple Organizations with a Single Tenant

While many customers use catalogs to deliver unique learning content to different groups within their organizations and apply granular permissions to access that content, some customers require higher levels of isolation to ensure user data cannot be accessed or shared across teams, departments or organizations.

With this release, Microsoft 365 administrators can install Learn365 in separate environments, with a completely isolated database as well as unique API and license keys.

New in Perform365

Automated Performance Reviews

Before this release, adding responses from check-in-linked questions to performance reviews in Perform365 was a manual process. Now, we've introduced AI-powered summarization to streamline this task.

For example, when an employee is completing their annual performance review and encounter a question linked to their weekly check-ins, such as "What have you achieved this week?", they can now select which responses to include and summarize using AI.

By selecting data from all check-ins throughout the year, employees are assured that no accomplishments are overlooked. As a powerful next step, employees can use AI summarization to create an overview of all their achievements, enabling teams to provide meaningful, tangible, and evidence-based responses when it matters most.
