Content packages
You can now drag and drop content packages to the course content
To further improve the user experience for admins, it's now possible to employ drag-and-drop to add content packages to the content of a course.
In the Add Content Package panel, the admin can now upload a content package in a single step using drag-and-drop.
Course and training plan progress
Admins will now see when learners have previously completed a course
When viewing a learner's progress in a course, admins will currently see only the latest attempt of the learner in question. So, if the learner has previously completed a course, but a retake of the training is then initiated for them, then the admin will only see the progress of the learner's retake attempt.
If the learner hasn't completed the retake of the course, the learner's progress in this training will not be Completed — even though the learner has completed the course in a previous attempt.
To enable admins to see that the learner has previously completed this training, we've added this information to the Course/Training Plan Progress and View Learner's Progress views.
In the Course/Training Plan Progress and View Learner's Progress views, an icon next to the Status column will now be displayed with a tooltip if the learner in question has completed a course in a previous attempt. From the tooltip, the admin will be able to see when the learner last completed the course.
In the Course/Training Plan Progress and View Learner's Progress reports, a new column (named Previously completed) will show the date of completion, if a course or training plan has been completed in an earlier attempt.
Notifications
Admins will now be notified of a lost connection between LMS365 and the account used for sending LMS365 email notifications
If the connection between your LMS365 application and the account used for sending LMS365 email notifications in your organization is lost, your LMS365 application can no longer send email notifications. This will mean that no user in your organization will receive notifications from LMS365.
If this situation occurs, the LMS365 system will now automatically send an email to notify admins of the need to re-establish the connection between LMS365 and the account.
The email will be sent directly to the course catalog admin, with the LMS admin in the Cc field.
Available languages
Now, LMS365 also speaks Catalan
We're happy to announce that Catalan is now added to the list of available languages in LMS365.
This enables admins and learners to experience the LMS365 user interfaces in Catalan, both from their desktop and mobile phones.
Microsoft Viva Learning
The LMS365 integration with Microsoft Viva Learning is now prepared for the general availability of the Viva Learning API
We are happy to share that the initial testing of the LMS365 and Viva Learning integration is now successfully completed. This means that, when the Viva Learning API becomes publicly available, you will be able to feature LMS365 courses and training plans in Viva Learning.
LMS365 will be included in the list of available content providers for your Viva Learning application, and when enabled, the LMS365 courses and training plans will be shown in cards, side by side with other learning content you choose to display in Viva Learning, branded for a seamless learning experience.
We'll make sure to let our customers know as soon as the Viva Learning API becomes generally available, and you can realize the integration of LMS365 with Microsoft Viva Learning. At this point, we will also share guidance on how customers can enable the integration.
NOTE
As the Viva Learning API is still in private preview, it's still undergoing changes. Therefore, the above information about the LMS365 integration with Viva Learning is subject to change, until the Viva Learning API is finalized and becomes publicly available.
