Introduction
Microsoft Stream (Classic) will be retired on February 15, 2024 and will be replaced by Stream (on SharePoint). For detailed information, see this Microsoft announcement and documentation.
In this article, we'll describe the impacts of this change in Learn365.
How does this impact Stream (Classic) video content in existing Learn365 courses?
If you use video content that is hosted on Microsoft Stream (Classic), you should replace the embed code used do add video content to courses in Learn365. This will prevent broken links in courses when Microsoft Stream (Classic) is retired.
To replace the embed code, follow these steps:
1. Complete the migration of the relevant video content from Microsoft Stream (Classic) to Stream (on SharePoint). For more information, see this Microsoft documentation.
2. When your video content is migrated, in Learn365, replace the legacy embed code with the new code for each video used in Learn365. For more information on how to get the embed code for video files located in Stream (on SharePoint) and add it to a learning module, see this article.
If you need to replace a large number of embed codes, we recommend you compile a list of all the courses and learning modules that contain Microsoft Stream (Classic) video content. If you need help with this, you can reach out to your Zensai Partner Success team or Zensai Customer Success team.
