New in Learn365
User interface updates
New course player
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the learning experience, we are working on redesigning the course player to offer more streamlined navigation. This redesign will improve overall usability, allowing learners to remain oriented within a course and seamlessly progress through the content.
This update includes:
- improved left hand navigation
- updated top bar with essential controls
- refreshed footer with navigation buttons
- new exit button
The new course player is released in beta version and is currently only accessible through the Microsoft Teams application.

Turn off new UI for all users
We are introducing a new toggle feature that allows administrators to disable the preview option of the new UI for all users. This gives administrators flexibility to choose when to make the new and improved user experience available to their learners.
Flow365
Expanded sign-in options
To support organizations who can’t store personal email addresses or phone numbers, we have made several enhancements to simplify Flow365 user setup and communications.
- Username has been added as a third sign-in identity option for Flow365 users. Passwords for this new sign-in identity type are managed by the administrator.
- Administrators can create a tenant-specific sign-in link or QR code, making it much easier to share. For example, a QR code could be printed, shared by an onsite supervisor and easily accessed via a mobile device.
- A unified sign-in screen across Flow365 sign-in identities. Those using an email address will have a forgot password option, one-time passwords will be shared with those using a phone number, and administrators can share credentials for the new username option if there is no email address provided for communications.

Document storage
Flow365 users don’t have Microsoft 365 licenses and therefore can’t access Microsoft Office documents stored on SharePoint, the default storage location for all Learn365 files. To ensure frontline workers have access to all the training they need, administrators can now choose to store documents on Azure Blob Storage via the Document library.
Localization
We are pleased to announce that Hindi has been added to the languages supported by Learn365, both the browser version and the Learn365 mobile app. You can view the complete list of supported languages in this article.
Notification for completed enrollments
The "Send for completed enrollments" toggle has been added to the notification templates below, allowing administrators to disable notifications for completed enrollments. This helps reduce the number of enrollment notifications triggered by accidental unenrollment and re-enrollment.
- Course enrollment cancellation
- Training plan enrollment cancellation
- Instructor-led training enrollment cancellation
- Course enrollment confirmation
- Training plan enrollment confirmation
- Instructor-led training enrollment confirmation
- Session registration request
This enhancement only applies to Learn365 notifications. It does not affect any calendar appointment notifications from Microsoft, such as training invitations or cancellations.
New in Perform365
Email server configuration
A page will be introduced allowing administrators to set up a custom email server and send notifications from non-default addresses. Administrators will have the ability to edit notification settings and select a specific 'from' email address instead of the default option, enhancing clarity for users regarding the authenticity of the email.
For instance, a user can receive an email reminder for the weekly check-in from the company domain rather than the default Weekly10 email option. This will ensure brand consistency and that emails are whitelisted to prevent spam issues and ensure email delivery.
