Introduction
The Learn365 mobile app enables users to take courses any time, anywhere from their mobile phones.
You can configure the Learn365 mobile app to match the branding and training needs of your organization.
This guide shows how to configure the menu, colors, the default course catalog, language, and other settings of your organization's Learn365 mobile app.
Where to start
Required role: LMS admin or Microsoft 365 global admin.
To configure the mobile app:
Go to the Learn365 Admin Center > Global Settings > Mobile Configuration.
From the Mobile Configuration page, you can configure the settings of the Learn365 mobile app:
- Look and Feel
- Default Language
- Default Course Catalog
- Information Page
- Help Page Link
- Open Course in a Browser
- Open web content in a Browser
- Dashboard Menu
These configurations are displayed in two columns on the web pages when viewed in full screen mode.
Look and Feel
In the Look and Feel section, you can configure the colors of the various elements of the mobile app interface.
In offline mode, customized colors may not display as expected in the Learn365 mobile app until the connection to the internet and server is restored.
Default Language
In the Default Language section, you can enable users to view the app using their device language or select another language as the default for the app.
By default, the selection is Device Language. If the Learn365 mobile app isn't yet translated into the language of the device, it's automatically displayed in English (United States).
If you select a default language for the app, users can customize the display language for each login session by changing the language on the Settings tab of the mobile app. However, when the user logs out of the mobile app, this setting reverts to the default language.
Default Course Catalog
In the Default Course Catalog section, you set the default сourse сatalog for all users. Once they've logged in, users can choose any catalog to which they have access.
Information Page
The Information Page section enables you to add an Information page to the Settings tab of the app. With the help of a rich-text editor, you can configure the content you want to show to users. For customers with a Learn365 Professional or Select subscription, the rich text editor includes the spell check, accessibility checker, and PowerPaste features.
Moreover, you can enable the display of this information:
- Each time a user logs into the app; or
- Each time a user closes the mobile app (without logging out) and then reopens it.
To enable the display of this information in these cases, toggle the Use this information page as a home page option to On.
The Information page is displayed as a pop-up screen directly above the Dashboard tab and is opened by default.
Help Page Link
In the Help Page Link section, you can choose whether to display the Help feature in the Settings tab of the mobile app and specify the URL to which users will be directed for help. The default URL directs users to the Learn365 mobile app section of the Zensai Help Center.
The Help page in the mobile app inherits the user's preferred browser selection, which is set using the Open links in option on the Settings tab.
Open Course in a Browser
In the Open Course in a Browser section, you can enable the display of the Open in Browser option on the Description tab of a training home page.
- When this option is toggled On, the Open in Browser option is available for users from both the ellipsis menu and the Description tab of a training home page.
- When this option is toggled Off, users can open courses in a browser from the ellipsis menu only.
The Open Course in a Browser option inherits the user's preferred browser selection, which is set using the Open links in option on the Settings tab.
Open web content in a Browser
In the Open web content in a Browser section, you can enable users to decide how to view web content on mobile devices.
- When the option is toggled On, web content of courses opens in the user's preferred web browser, which is set using the Open links in option on the Settings tab.
- When the option is toggled Off, web content of courses opens in the embedded Learn365 mobile app browser.
NOTE
- For Microsoft Intune-compliant devices, it's recommended to open web content in a browser. Find out more about how to set up policies for Microsoft Intune to work with the Learn365 mobile app in this article.

Apple blocks cookies for cross-site resources, therefore restricting the opening of third-party embedded iFrame code (including videos) in apps. This means that when using the Learn365 mobile app on an iPhone, users can't watch videos directly in the Learn365 mobile app. Find out more about how to enable access to video content via the Learn365 mobile app from iPhones in this article.
Dashboard Menu
In the Dashboard Menu section, you can select the menu items you want to show to users. LMS admins can configure the display of all sections except the Training section, which is always displayed.
