We constantly improve the accessibility of Learn365, trying to provide everybody with equal opportunity to access knowledge. Currently, course and training plan home pages, as well as the Learn365 player, are available via screen readers, e.g. jaws, and keyboard. The design of the Learn365 player is AA level color contrast compliant.
NOTE
- Use the standard modern SharePoint light and dark themes for My Training Dashboard and training web parts as the colors of the statuses are fully accessible and readable there.
- We don't support the readability of statuses in SharePoint custom themes. If you want to use them, we recommend you trying it first to ensure that the colors are readable.
- We don't fully support Microsoft Edge Legacy.
Learners can easily enroll in training from its home page using a screen reader or a keyboard. Those learners who have already enrolled can start the training from home page as well.
On the course home page of Instructor-Led Training with the Enroll user into a multiple course sessions enrollment type, when selecting the Sessions section, the screen reader:
- Informs the user that there is an option to select multiple sessions.
- Informs the user of the number of sessions that have been selected.
Once the learner enrolls in a course or training plan, the screen reader may interpret the training title, enrollment notification and the other buttons or links that are available under training information area, for example, progress status, waiting list, etc. The screen reader may also interpret expand or collapse buttons along with the description and all learning objects.
We don't fully support the accessibility of the training ratings and the assignments web part.
To prevent the change in the way the screen reader interprets the content, we recommend creating courses using only one learning module that include all the learning objects.

- The screen reader may have different behavior if the learner works with different types of content (multimedia, content, files, website links, embed code) within the learning module.
- The accessibility of the embedded documents (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, PDF files, etc.) and code (Vimeo, Flickr etc.) may behave in a different way depending on the embedded file itself.
- The accessibility of content packages depends on the packages as well.
We support the accessibility of the following quiz question types:

We don't support the accessibility of the ordering, hot spot, and matching types of the questions.
How the screen reader interprets learning content
When the learner switches between learning objects, the screen reader focuses on the main content, not on the course syllabus.
Some inconsistencies in how the screen reader interprets the content can still occur. So, we recommend some experimentation to find the structure that best matches your content.
We are constantly optimizing Learn365 and we appreciate any feedback on how to make our product more accessible.
