Here are the latest features and updates we’ve rolled out in the past month. Take a look to see which new additions will make the most difference to your day-to-day. Let's dive in!
Extend learning to frontline workers with Flow365
The September release sees an addition to Learn365 that enables users without a Microsoft365 license to access Learn365 content. Using a web browser, frontline workers as well as temporary or contract workers can access a stripped down version of Learn365 and complete e-learning courses that are critical to their work and/or to meet industry or regulatory compliance requirements.
In this initial release of Flow365, administrators can invite learners via a personal email address or mobile phone number. Once signed up, learners will see all the e-learning courses they are enrolled in, organized by completion status. In upcoming releases, support for instructor-led training, a dedicated mobile app and simplified content management will deliver a simplified learning experience to frontline and deskless workers. For this initial release, notifications are all via email, even for those using a mobile number to share invitations.

Advanced AI assistance for course creation
Continuing to cut down the manual tasks of course-building, this release introduces more AI assistance for catalog admins. Learn365 can now suggest learning outcomes, structures and glossaries for courses. Admins can choose the number of learning modules, the complexity of those modules and the tone of voice of the content. There’s even a ‘storytelling mode’, to guide learners through the course. This capability is now available for text-based input.
As with all our AI features, learning content is editable once generated. To help admins ensure all AI-generated content is reviewed, we’ve added the option to show all the content generated by AI on a single, separate page.

Simplified editing of user enrollment and certificate data
The capability to edit course and training plan due dates and purge enrollments was introduced earlier this year. We’ve now extended this feature by making it accessible via training progress panels as well as the user progress panel. Remember these actions cannot be undone, although any acquired skills and certificates will remain.
Previously managed per user, certificates can now be downloaded, modified or deleted in bulk; either certificates for multiple users on a single course, or multiple certificates for a single learner. This will save time when editing certificate data for large numbers of learners or courses.
Update Manager via API
Especially useful where the manager for Learn365 activity needs to be different from the reporting hierarchy in Microsoft Entra ID, line manager information can now be updated via API. The data provided via API will not be overwritten when Learn365 synchs with Entra ID.
