New in Learn365

Learner dashboard improvements and new pop-up notifications

With this release, we’re happy to introduce the new Stay on Track section of the learner dashboard for the Learn365 app in Microsoft Teams. This section separates courses that are in progress, past due, or due soon from the larger overview of all courses.

This helps create a sense of urgency or call to action for learners on learning content that needs attention.

Another improvement to our new Learn365 interface includes a new look to the notifications which appear as a pop-up on the bottom right of the learner’s screen to confirm actions taken like enrolling or unenrolling in a course.

NOTE

These updates are only available when learners choose the preview of the new Learn365 user interface.

Training recommendations based on user profiles

We continue to improve the learning experience within Learn365 with a new recommendation block on My Training Dashboard which features an invitation message from Orbie, our AI assistant.

Here, the learner can request personalized training recommendations across catalogs to help them achieve their specific goals.

This feature helps learners discover relevant content that aligns with their goals, improves engagement with learning materials, and accelerates skill development.

Learners can search with the power of Orbie by entering learning goals or topics. Orbie’s recommendations are more advanced than a simple search, as it considers relevant content based on training title, description, text, category, and skills to make educated and personalized recommendations.

To access training recommendations based on user profiles, ensure that you have enabled AI in your Learn365 environment.

Here’s a quick link to how to enable or disable AI with Zensai.

Access more learning from Learn365 with Content365 x OpenSesame

Content365 now includes access to OpenSesame, an online education platform that offers over 40,000 curated courses for business professionals in a variety of languages and formats.

Seamlessly view and manage OpenSesame’s high quality off-the-shelf courses in Learn365, side by side with other courses in your organization. OpenSesame's rigorous course evaluation ensures quality from day 1, and regular course updates make sure learners get the very latest content.

Curating OpenSesame content to add to your Learn365 catalogs is simple. Browse your options within Learn365 and import what you need. As you evolve your catalog, potentially changing which courses you make available, records for learners who completed that training will be retained in Learn365.

The integration will be almost invisible to learners, who will simply see the learning they need in their flow of work. They will work through courses in Teams, Outlook, or SharePoint and see their learning and skills progress as they do all other Learn365 content.

NOTE

Access to OpenSesame learning content requires a Content365 x OpenSesame license. The Content365 x OpenSesame license is available to customers with a Learn365 Professional subscription or above. Reach out to your Learn365 CSM to hear more.

Validate learning outcomes with new assessment features

This release in Learn365 is a massive improvement to the ability for designated supervisors to validate learning completion or confirm that employees have the required expertise to carry out their roles.

These new capabilities allow employees to upload evidence that learning outcomes were achieved.

From an admin perspective, during assessment creation, admins can enable the Require Learner to Upload a File for Review toggle to make file submission mandatory.

Supervisors can track which assessments need feedback once an employee submits comments or files for review. They can provide text-based feedback and attach files, such as documentation for the learner to review or instructions to retake the assessment.

From the learner perspective, the learner can add comments or files to their assessment and confirm that they are ready to submit for review.

Once these comments or files are submitted for feedback, edits cannot be made until the supervisor has responded.

NOTE

A supervisor can be but doesn’t have to be the employee’s line manager.

New in Flow365

Flow365, our solution for frontline workers and external users, brings learning and development opportunities to those inside and outside your organization—even without a Microsoft 365 account.

With this release, we're introducing a selection of updates to Flow365.

Assign managers to frontline workers

Now, administrators can quickly and easily assign a manager to a Flow365 user.

This update ensures that employees managing frontline workers can access relevant data within the Line Manager Dashboard. This is an effort to aid managers in supporting frontline workers who may not check in on what learning is due as frequently as a desk-based colleague.

Within the admin center, the administrator can edit the user directly to update the assigned manager. Then, the frontline worker is visible directly within the Line Manager Dashboard of the assigned manager.

Bulk create users via CSV file import

To enable a seamless and efficient process when adding Flow365 users to Learn365, it's now possible to bulk create Flow365 users by uploading user data via CSV.

Administrators can verify the information before importing.

Support new users with sign in instruction emails

Administrators can now send customizable email notifications to their Flow365 users to support them through the sign in process, whether they are signed up via email or phone number.

In addition to the auto-populated email (or phone number), password, and hyperlink fields, organizations can edit these templates with more detailed guidance, including images, using the template builder.

Audit trail events for Flow365 actions

To enable troubleshooting and simplify reporting for compliance and audit, the audit trail feature can now track events that relate to Flow365 users.

Information can help administrators or auditors quickly verify whether the tenant admin created the action, if an event was triggered via API key, if a username accepted a specific training event, and more. Learn more about audit trail event recording here.

New in Perform and Engage365

Improvements to the user interface of the Perform and Engage365 app in Microsoft Teams

The Zensai team is excited to introduce new UI enhancements in Perform365!

End-users can now preview redesigned Weekly Check-In and Overview of Check-Ins screens within the Perform & Engage365 app on Microsoft Teams.

To explore these updates, individual users must enable the Beta preview toggle in Perform & Engage365.

Additionally, we’ve updated the Dashboard left menu, organizing functionality into Engage, Perform, and Learn. This highlights the distinct capabilities of the Human Success Platform for customers using multiple products.

Engagement surveys update

After a Q4, 2024 period of beta testing with a group of early adopter customers, we’re thrilled to launch further engagement survey capabilities within Engage365.

We’ve enhanced the engagement survey experience so that administrators can now create surveys using questions curated by industry experts on employee engagement.
