Retirement of Learn365 Freemium

Introduction

From December 8, 2025, it's no longer possible to install Learn365 with a Freemium subscription.

The Freemium service will be completely phased out for existing Learn365 tenants on April 1, 2026.

In this article, we explain more about the retirement of the Learn365 Freemium subscription and how organizations with a Learn365 Freemium subscription can upgrade to a paid Learn365 Professional subscription.

How does this affect new Learn365 customers?

From December 8, 2025, it's no longer possible to install Learn365 with a Freemium subscription.

How does this affect existing Learn365 customers with a Freemium subscription?

The Learn365 Freemium service will be completely phased out for existing Learn365 tenants on April 1, 2026. After this date, Learn365 will no longer be available for customers with a Freemium subscription.

To keep your access to the Learn365 learning environments and its data, all current Freemium accounts will need to transition to a paid Learn365 Professional subscription by April 1, 2026. If your organization doesn't transition to a paid Learn365 Professional subscription, you'll lose access to Learn365 and learners won't be able to take training from April 1, 2026 onwards.

How do I upgrade my Freemium subscription?

To benefit from the full range of Learn365 features, you should upgrade to the Learn365 Professional subscription.

To request an upgrade, go to the Learn365 Admin Center > Course Catalog Management, select Upgrade Plan on the top right-hand side of the page, then complete the Get a quote form.

You can also request an upgrade via the to Learn365 Admin Center > Global Settings > Subscription Information > Subscription Plan tab. Then, you can:

• Selecting Get a quote in the PROFESSIONAL column.
• Selecting Upgrade Plan on the top right-hand side of the page, then complete the Get a quote form.

If I upgrade my subscription plan from Freemium, will I lose my courses and training plans?

No. All the courses and training plans you've created will still be available after the upgrade.
