Required role: Employee.
To allow someone else to see your Perform & Engage 365 check-in when you aren't part of their direct team, you can add them as a follower of your account.
This might be particularly useful:
- If you are on a project team with them, but they aren't your direct line manager.
- If they are a functional manager, but not your direct line manager.
- If they lead multiple teams and want sight of their team members.
- If they want oversight of a new starter.
- If they are seconded to look after a team you're in.
- For second line managers.
- For mentoring purposes.
When someone follows your account, and you approve their request, they can:
- View your profile in the same way as your manager.
- View and respond to your check-ins and provide feedback.
- View your goals and objectives.
- View all your mentions and pass ups.
1. Select the cog icon at the top of your dashboard then User Settings or select the icon with either your photo or initials then Settings. The settings page opens on the Profile tab.
2. Select the Followers tab. You can also open this tab via the cog icon > Manage Followers.
This tab shows all your followers. Your default manager will automatically follow your account.
3. Select the required user from the drop-down.
4. Select Add.
5. To remove a follower, select the bin icon. You can't remove your default manager as a follower.
