Pause an employee's account in Perform & Engage 365

Introduction

Required role: Super admin.

If an employee is going to be absent from work for an extended period of time, for example maternity or paternity leave, or a sabbatical, you can pause their account in Perform & Engage 365. Pausing an account places the account on hold and means for the duration, the employee:

  • Won't be asked to complete their scheduled check-ins.
  • Won't receive reminder notifications.
  • Won't be able to progress with their goals.
  • Won't receive conversation templates that are launched.

This feature shouldn't be used for employees who are taking planned vacation. Such users should use the vacation feature but if they forget to do this, admins can pause their account, if required.

Pause an employee's account

1. Enter all or part of the name of the employee whose account you want to pause in the search bar at the top of any page.

2. Select their name. The employee's Profile page opens.

3. In the panel that displays their name, check-in schedule, and email address, select the View user in org chart icon. The Team of <manager's name> opens. This page shows all the members of the manager's team.

4. Find the employee whose account you want to pause.

5. Select User is active - click to pause account (the pause icon) on the right-hand side of the employee's row. The Pause user dialog opens.

6. To pause the employee's account, select YES. Otherwise, select CANCEL.
