Introduction
Required role: Super admin.
Super admins can manage employees' followers and approve follow requests from other employees in Perform & Engage 365.
Followers receive a notification when an employee submits their check-in. Followers can see and review employee check-ins, and provide feedback. They can also see the employee's check-in history and any goals that are set. Once added, a notification email is sent to both the employee and the follower.
Add and remove followers for an employee
1. Enter all or part of the name of the employee whose account someone wants to follow in the search bar at the top of any page.
2. Select the employee's name. The employee's Profile page opens.
3. In the panel that displays the employee's name, check-in schedule, and email address, select the View user in org chart icon. The Team of <manager's name> page opens. This page shows all the members of the manager's team.
4. Find the employee for whom you want to add followers.
5. Select View (employee name)'s followers (the right-facing arrow icon) on the right-hand side of the employee's row. The (employee name) followers dialog opens.
The Existing Followers table at the bottom of the dialog shows the employee's manager and any other followers.
- An internal follower is a Perform & Engage 365 user.
- An external follower isn't a Perform & Engage user. They receive a report of employee check-ins but can't comment or view history.
6. To add an Internal Follower, select them from the Add new follower drop-down list. Alternatively, enter all or part of the new follower's name or email address, then select them.
7. To assign manager rights for the new follower, select the Has manager rights checkbox.
8. Select Add.
9. Repeat steps 6 to 8 if you want to add more internal followers for the employee.
10. To add an External Follower, enter their email address, then select Add. Repeat this step if you want to add more external followers for the employee.
When you add followers, they're shown in the Existing Followers table at the bottom of the dialog.
11. To remove a follower, select the bin icon in the Actions column. You can't remove the employee's default manager as a follower.
12. To Approve or Reject a follow request on behalf of the employee, select the relevant option in the Actions column.
