Required role: Employee.
To see an employee’s Perform & Engage 365 check-in when they aren't part of your direct team, you need to follow their account.
This might be particularly useful:
- If an employee is on a project team with you, but they aren't a direct report.
- If you're a functional manager, but not an employee's direct line manager.
- If you lead multiple teams and want sight of your team members.
- If you want oversight of a new starter.
- If a manager is seconded to look after a team.
- For a second line manager.
- For mentoring purposes.
When you follow someone else's account, and they approve your request, you can:
- View their profile in the same way as their manager.
- View and respond to their check-ins and provide feedback.
- View their goals and objectives.
- View all their mentions and pass ups.
1. Select the cog icon at the top of your dashboard then User Settings or select the icon with either your photo or initials then Settings. The settings page opens on the Profile tab.
2. Select the Following tab. You can also follow others via the cog icon > Manage Followers then select the Following tab.
This tab shows all the people you're following.
3. Select the required user from the drop-down.
4. Select Add.
A request will be sent to the selected person, who can then approve or reject it.
