View, analyze, and export goals or OKRs in Perform & Engage 365

View and export goals

To view a goal or an OKR in Perform & Engage 365:

1. Depending on your user’s role and the level (team, department, etc.) at which you want to view a goal or an OKR, select Me, My Team, or Organization on the top navigation bar.

2. On the top menu, select Goals or OKRs (depending on the organization goal type set in the Advanced Organization Settings). The Goals page with a list of goals and OKRs is displayed. The page contains:

  • The Personal, Team, Department, and Organization buttons, clicking on which you can change the level of the goals and OKRs displayed.
  • The Advanced filter icon, which enables you to filter the displayed goals and OKRs by more specific criteria, such as team or department names, goal categories, etc.
  • The Dashboard and List icons, which enable you to switch between the analytics dashboard and the default list views.
  • The question icon that opens a short tour around the page.
  • The date filter, where you can filter the displayed goals and OKRs by days, quarters, and years.
  • The Expand all/Collapse all button, which enables you to expand and collapse the displayed goals and OKRs.
  • The Export to Excel option that enables you to export the displayed list of goals and OKRs in the .xlsx format.
  • The list of goals and OKRs. The list includes all goals and OKRs that match the search filters. The list is split into level items: departments, teams, etc.

At the top of each level item (departments, teams, etc.), you can:

  • Select Add Goal or Add OKR (depending on the goal type set in the Advanced Organization Settings) to start creating a new goal or an OKR.
  • View the total count of goals and OKRs.
  • Select the three-dot icon. This opens a drop-down menu with these features:
    • Cascade Goal enables you to create a goal that cascades down the hierarchy. For example, you can cascade the organization goal down to the team level, so every team will have this goal as their team, not the organization, goal.
    • Duplicate Goals to next period or Duplicate OKRs to next period (depending on the goal type set in the Advanced Organization Settings) enables you to duplicate the goal or OKR to the next period, such as a quarter.
    • Suggest Goals or Suggest OKRs (depending on the goal type set in the Advanced Organization Settings) enables you to start generating a goal or an OKR with AI.

The list of goals and OKRs enables you to:

  • View the current progress of goals, sub-goals, OKRs, and results.
  • Move the goals and OKRs up and down the list by hovering the progress circle and selecting the up or down arrow.
  • View more details about goal and OKR progress by selecting the progress circle or the three-dot icon > Progress. The Progress page shows the goal or OKR progress chart, a list of responses provided against the goal or OKR, and the goal or OKR edit history. Select Export to CSV to export the progress data.
  • Edit a goal or an OKR by selecting the three-dot icon and selecting from the options in the drop-down menu.

Goal analytics dashboard

If the Enable goals dashboard option is switched on in the Advanced Organization Settings, you can view the dashboard with the analytics around your goals or OKRs. To open the dashboard:

1. Depending on your user’s role and the level (team, department, etc.) at which you want to view goals or OKRs, select Me, My Team, or Organization on the top navigation bar.

2. On the top menu, select Goals or OKRs.

3. Select the level (Personal, Team, Department, or Organization).

4. Near the top right-hand side of the page, select the Dashboard icon. The analytics dashboard opens.

The dashboard contains these metrics:

  • Weekly progress of Goals: ideal and actual progress of goals or OKRs week-by-week. The ideal progress takes goal/OKR start and end dates into account and breaks them down to the ideal weekly pace that a user should keep to complete the goal or OKR in time.
  • Monthly status of Goals: on track, at risk, or behind.
  • Live Goals progress by … : goal or OKR status (not started, behind, at risk, or on track), split between categories, departments, teams, or people. You can change the level of displayed data by selecting the current level (let’s say, Department) in the Live Goals progress by … section name and selecting a different one from the drop-down menu. You can open more details by selecting the row name or the number inside the circle.
  • Live status of goals: current status (Not Started, Behind, At risk, or On track) of all goals and OKRs at the level (team, department, etc.) you selected. You can find more details by selecting the number inside the circle.
  • Employees with/without goals: the percentage of employees with or without goals or OKRs. You can find more info by selecting the percentage inside the circle.
  • Departments with/without goals: the percentage of departments with or without goals or OKRs. You can find more info by selecting the percentage inside the circle.
  • Goals aligned: the percentage of goals and OKRs aligned to the parent goals.
