Create and manage 360° templates in Perform & Engage 365

Introduction

Required role: Super admin.

Managers can gather feedback about the employees they manage from the employees' peers, colleagues, and external contacts using the 360° feedback process in Perform & Engage 365. The employees can also request 360° feedback.

This article describes how you, as a Super admin, can create a 360° conversation template, and add it as an element to a 360° Feedback template that managers and employees can use.

 

Create a 360° template

1. Go to Organization > Conversations. The Conversation Templates Configuration page opens on the Plans tab.

2. Select the 360° Templates tab.

3. Select Create new 360° template. The Create a new 360° template dialog opens.

4. Enter the Template name, select Feedback visibility from the drop-down list, and select the checkbox if you want to Allow custom questions in the template.

5. Select Create. The template is created and displayed on the 360° Templates tab.

6. Select the edit item for the new template. The <template name> 360° Template page opens.

7. Select Add new element. The Add new feedback element dialog opens.

8. Select an Element type from the drop-down list. Additional options might be displayed, depending on your selection.

9. Select Create. You return to the <template name> 360° Template page.

Here, you can Add new element, if required, or select back to template editor to return to the 360° Templates tab.

 

Use the 360° element in a template

1. Go to Organization > Conversations. The Conversation Templates Configuration page opens on the Plans tab.

2. Select the Templates tab.

3. Select the edit icon for the required template. The Editing <template name> page opens.

4. Select Add new section. The Add a new section dialog opens.

5. Complete the required fields and select Create. You return to the Editing <template name> page.

6. For the new section, select Add new element. The Add new element dialog opens.

7. Select 360 Feedback from the drop-down list.

8. Add any Text (optional), set the stage Visibility, then select Create. You return to the Editing <template name> page, where the 360° template is displayed.

9. Choose the 360° template you want to use from the drop-down list, then Select.

The template is now ready to be used in a conversation plan. Select Back to templates to return to the Conversation Templates Configuration page.
