Edit, cascade, duplicate, or delete goals or OKRs in Perform & Engage 365

The ability to edit, cascade, duplicate, or delete goals or OKRs in Perform & Engage 365 depends on the goal/OKR level and the user’s role:

  • Organization goals or OKRs can be managed by Super admins.
  • Department goals or OKRs can be managed by Super admins and Department admins.
  • Team goals or OKRs can be managed by Super admins and team managers.
  • Personal goals or OKRs can be managed by the employee, their manager, a Super admin, and, if the employee belongs to a department, the Department admin.

To manage goals or OKRS:

1. Depending on a user’s role and the level (team, department, etc.) at which you want to edit a goal or an OKR, select Me, My Team, or Organization at the top navigation bar.

2. At the top menu, select Goals or OKRs (depending on the organization goal type set in the Advanced Organization Settings).

3. Select the level (Personal, Team, Department, or Organization).

4. Find the goal or OKR you want to edit, cascade, duplicate, or delete.

5. Select the three-dot icon next to the goal or OKR.

6. From the drop-down menu, select:

  • Edit to edit a goal or an OKR. The Edit Goal screen opens. Make any changes and select Save to save the changes or Cancel
If a goal or an OKR is in progress, you can edit its description and adjust its start/end dates, but you can’t edit its unit.
  • Cascade to cascade a goal or an OKR. With it, you can cascade the goal or OKR down the hierarchy. For example, you can cascade the organization goal down to the team level, so every team will have this goal as their team, not organization, goal.
Selecting Cascade opens the Cascade goal screen, where you can change the basic information. After that, select Next to choose the cascade settings. For example, you can cascade the goal only to employees from the team or department, or you can cascade the goal to particular job roles. Select Save to save the changes or Cancel.
You can cascade sub-goals as well.
  • Duplicate to duplicate a goal or an OKR. The Add New Goal screen opens. On this screen, you can change the details of the new goal, while the details of the original goal remain the same. Make the changes and select Save to save the changes or Cancel.
  • Duplicate to next period to duplicate the goal or OKR to the next period, such as quarter. After selecting Duplicate to next period, select the goals or OKRs that you want to duplicate and select OK.
  • Delete to remove a goal or an OKR. Select Delete again to delete the goal or Cancel to keep it.
