Updates and enhancements

Conversations

Admins can now mark all non-dynamic template elements as mandatory, providing greater flexibility when designing conversation templates and helping ensure participants complete required sections.

We've added tooltips that explain how stage visibility works in the template editor, making it easier for admins to understand which participants can view each stage of a conversation.

Admins can now preview conversation participants before launching a conversation, helping verify assignment accuracy and reducing setup errors.

The Workflows UI now surfaces conversation notification skips and includes a new CONVERSATION_UNCOMPLETED skip reason. This provides greater visibility into why notifications weren't sent and helps admins troubleshoot workflow automation.

 

Development plans

Employees can now access a dedicated to-do panel within development plans, making it easier to track and complete assigned development activities.

We've added a new entry point to development plans in the Zensai Teams app, helping employees access their development activities directly from Teams.

The development plans manager view has been updated with enhanced column layouts, making it easier to review and manage employee development plans.

 

Career Framework

The default number of job levels available in Career Framework has been increased, giving organizations greater flexibility when modeling career progression and organizational structures.

 

Dashboards and insights

The product manager dashboard now includes quick access to one of the most commonly used prebuilt templates, helping admins get started faster.

The product manager dashboard now displays active monthly organizations, providing additional insight into platform usage and adoption.

 

Teams app and notifications

We've verified and enhanced support for activity feed notification types within the Zensai Teams app experience, helping ensure notifications are delivered consistently across Human Success Platform experiences.

 

Platform administration

Self-service sign-up has been removed from the application, simplifying administration and supporting controlled user onboarding experiences.

We've removed an unused HubSpot integration, reducing platform complexity and maintenance overhead.

 

Security and platform reliability

This release includes extensive security maintenance, dependency upgrades, and vulnerability remediation work across the platform.

We've addressed multiple security findings, including enhancements to:

Resolved an issue that prevented Yes/No questions from functioning correctly in check-ins.

Resolved an issue where goals created by an agent were visible on Perform & Engage 365 pages but weren't visible in chats within Perform & Engage 365 and the Zensai app.

Updates and enhancements

Conversations

Admins can now mark all non-dynamic elements as mandatory. This provides greater flexibility when configuring forms and helps ensure required information is completed before submission.

The experience for changing targets in a manager's development plan drawer has been streamlined. Managers can now update targets directly from the current interface without being redirected elsewhere.

Default Conversations V2 notifications now include informational labels that explain the purpose of each notification, making notification settings easier to understand and configure.

Underlying notification handling for conversations has been enhanced with new logic for tracking skipped notifications and maintaining notification state consistency.

Question groups that are newly created are now displayed correctly on the Check-in Schedule page, ensuring they can be selected immediately when configuring check-ins.

Managers can now find and select themselves in the search field of the Check-in Schedule modal when configuring schedules.

The Conversation Data Export report in the new reporting experience now includes the user profile API ID, making it easier to integrate exported data with external systems and processes.

 

Career Framework

The text displayed in downloaded import files for Career Framework functions has been updated for greater consistency and readability.

 

Dashboards and reporting

The product manager dashboard now includes information about conversations, providing additional visibility into conversation activity and engagement.

Weekly and monthly goal status information is now displayed correctly, ensuring users can accurately track goal progress over time.

 

Notifications and communications

Admins can now create test notifications using generated data, making it easier to validate notification configuration and delivery before sending notifications to users.

Legacy notification organizations have been migrated to Azure Communication Services (ACS) email configuration, enhancing the foundation for notification delivery.

 

Security, platform, and maintenance

Upgraded the Engage MCP server from fastmcp 2.x to 3.x.

Updated pytest from version 8.4.2 to 9.0.3 to support ongoing platform maintenance and testing enhancements.

 

Resolved issues

A missing notification that informs relevant users when a conversation is completed has been added, helping ensure stakeholders receive timely updates on conversation progress.

Resolved an issue where links in the Employee Files element didn't open correctly.

Resolved an issue where element names weren't displayed in the Move to dialog, making it easier to identify and organize elements.

Resolved an issue where switchable global admins could see team members from other organizations in team lists. Team visibility now respects organization boundaries.

Remediated the node-tar denial-of-service vulnerability (GHSA-23hp-3jrh-7fpw).

Resolved compatibility issues between django-select2-admin-filters and newer versions of django-select2, including updates related to CVE-2025-48383.

Resolved an issue where managers couldn't find themselves in the search field when configuring a check-in schedule.
