Introduction
Perform & Engage 365 includes several customer-facing navigation elements that can be customized to better align with your organization's terminology, language preferences, or internal processes. For example, some organizations may prefer to use alternative terminology that is more familiar to their employees or better reflects local language requirements.
NOTE
Not all navigation tabs and interface elements can be customized. Only selected customer-facing elements are currently supported for renaming.
How tab renaming works
Currently, navigation tab renaming is performed by Zensai Product Support.
If you want to rename one or more supported navigation elements, submit a support request and include:
- The current tab name
- The new name you would like displayed
- Any language-specific requirements
- Confirmation that the change should apply to all users.
We'll review your request and advise whether the requested change is supported.

Important considerations before renaming tabs
Before requesting changes, consider the impact on your users and admins.
Help Center documentation
Most Zensai Help Center articles, images, videos, and support guidance use the default Perform & Engage 365 terminology.
If you rename tabs, users may see different names in your environment than those referenced in documentation, as shown in the following table.
| Default name in articles | Customized name in your environment |
|---|---|
| Conversations | Discussions |
| Goals | Business priorities |
This can occasionally make it harder to locate features when following instructions.
User training
If you provide internal user guides, onboarding resources, or training sessions, you may need to update those materials to reflect your customized terminology.
Future support requests
When contacting Zensai Product Support, it can be helpful to reference both the original Perform & Engage 365 name and your customized name.
This helps ensure that everyone is referring to the same feature.
Best practices
We recommend that you:
- Choose terminology that is familiar to your users.
- Keep names concise and easy to understand.
- Document any customizations internally.
- Maintain a simple mapping between the standard Perform & Engage 365 names and your organization's customized names.
- Avoid changing names frequently, as this can confuse users and make training materials harder to maintain.
