Exciting Changes Coming to Your Course Catalog and Player Experience

We are thrilled to share updates coming to your Learn365 platform, aimed at enhancing your user experience. These changes will help streamline navigation, improve accessibility, and offer a more engaging and modern interface.

What’s Changing?

1. Course Catalog Enhancements (Coming May 26, 2025)

To improve the way users interact with course catalogs, we are introducing powerful updates that make navigation more intuitive and user-friendly. This is just the first step in modernizing the catalog experience, and more improvements will follow. Additionally, the entire catalog view has been redesigned, offering a fresher and more modern look.

  • All Catalog View
One of the key features is the new ability to view all available catalogs in one place. This means no more switching between different catalogs – users can now see all courses at a glance. Of course, if users want to focus on a specific catalog, they can still select individual catalogs based on their needs. Users will only see courses from catalogs they have permission to access.

  • Re-designed Search Functionality
Searching for courses just got more enjoyable. The re-designed search function comes with a modern, playful design that encourages users to interact and find exactly what they’re looking for. Whether searching by title, category, or other filters, users will experience faster and more efficient results.

2. Course Player Updates (Released March 31, 2025)

The first round of improvements to the course player has been successfully rolled out, laying the foundation for a smoother and more streamlined learning experience. These updates mark the beginning of ongoing enhancements to the Learn365 platform.

  • Improved Left-Hand Navigation

The navigation panel on the left has been visually refreshed for a cleaner, more modern look. While functionality remains unchanged, the updated design makes it easier to follow your course progress.

  • Updated UI Design

The course player interface now features a more polished and intuitive layout, improving both readability and ease of use.

  • New Exit Button

The exit button has been redesigned for greater visibility and ease of access, allowing users to exit a course or return to the previous screen without confusion.

Now Available in SharePoint Too

Good news for our SharePoint users: As of the May 26, 2025 release, all redesigned pages - including the new course player, course overview, catalog, My Training, and course pages - are now available in SharePoint as well.

Until now, these visual and functional updates were only available within the Microsoft Teams environment. With this release, SharePoint users can now benefit from the same streamlined and modern learning experience. We’ll continue to share updates as more improvements roll out in the future.
