Introduction
You can add the Perform & Engage 365 app to a channel in Microsoft Teams and use it to share employee responses to check-in questions (such as "kudos" to colleagues) in that channel. Sharing employee responses can help highlight and share a team's progress, or identify areas for improvement. An associated bot sends a notification to the channel members when a response to a connected check-in question is submitted. Channel members can then react and respond to the notification, and start a conversation.
While anyone can set up a kudos channel in Microsoft Teams, only Super admins can connect check-in questions to the channel. Responses that employees mark as private aren't shared to the channel.

Configure a kudos channel in Microsoft Teams
To set up a kudos channel, add the Perform & Engage 365 app to the channel to which you want to add check-in responses. Anyone can add the app to a Teams channel.
To do this:
1. In Microsoft Teams, select the Apps icon on the sidebar.
2. Find Perform & Engage 365 and select Open. The Let's go dialog opens.
3. Select the channel to which you want to add the Perform & Engage 365 app and then Go.
The Perform & Engage 365 app sends a message to the channel to confirm the connection. Super admins can now connect check-in questions and employee responses to this channel.

3. From the Connect to Teams channel drop-down list in the Share responses to app section, select the relevant channels. The names of the selected Teams channels are displayed above the drop-down list.
4. Optionally, select the Question text included checkbox to show both the question and responses in the connected channel.
5. Select Save. The Perform & Engage 365 app sends a message to the connected channel, confirming the question is now connected to the channel.
All future employee responses to this question are shared to this channel, together with the employee's name. If an employee marks their response as private, their response isn't shared to the channel.
During check-in, employees see the "Responses to this question will be published to [Teams channel]" message below any check-in questions that are connected to Teams channels.
