What's New in the Human Success Platform, July 2026

Welcome to the July 2026 edition of What's New!

Your Zensai platform already helps you manage learning, performance, and engagement every day - and this month, we're making it even better. These updates give you more flexibility, simplify everyday administration, and help you create even better experiences for your learners and employees.

To make new releases easier to navigate, we're now organizing updates into Learning, Performance, Engagement, and Cross-platform. You'll also see which product editions each feature is available in, making it quick and easy to understand what's included in your edition.

Let's dive in.

Learning

Give your training admins more control over instructor-led training

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

Not every training session should be filled on a first come, first served basis. With Admin-managed waiting lists, course admins decide who receives the next available seat, making it easier to balance business priorities, manager approvals, logistics, and changing schedules.

Why it matters

  • Choose between Disabled, Automatic, or Admin-managed waiting lists.
  • Decide who should be enrolled when places become available.
  • Move learners between sessions or enroll them manually when needed.
  • Ensure the right people attend the right training at the right time while giving admins greater control over instructor-led training.

How to use it

  • Enable Admin-managed waiting lists under Edit course > Settings. For more information, see the Waiting list / Manage Waiting List section in this article.
  • Once enabled, manage learners from the waiting list, where you can view available seats, move learners between sessions, and enroll them as places become available. For more information, see the Manage waiting lists manually section in this article.
  • Learners can continue to see the course admins on the course homepage if they need assistance.

Make your learning catalog more engaging with rich text descriptions

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

Rich text formatting for catalog descriptions is now available in the new UI, giving admins more flexibility to create engaging, easy-to-read learning catalogs. Whether you're highlighting important information or providing more context around a learning topic, richer descriptions help learners quickly understand what's available and encourage them to explore more learning opportunities.

Why it matters

  • Create more engaging catalog descriptions with rich text formatting.
  • Highlight key information using clearer formatting and structure.
  • Make it easier for learners to understand what each catalog offers and discover relevant learning.

How to use it

Edit your catalog description in the new UI and use the rich text formatting options to create clear, engaging content. For more information, see The Appearance tab section in this article.

Manage assessment results with greater flexibility

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

Assessment grading is now easier to manage, whether you're updating learner results directly in the platform or connecting assessment data to external reporting tools. These enhancements give admins more flexibility while reducing manual work for organizations using grading scales and integrations.

Why it matters

  • Update learner grades directly from the Edit progress panel when using grading scales.
  • Manage grade scales and retrieve assessment results through the public API.
  • Improve reporting and analytics by making assessment data easier to integrate with external systems.
  • Spend less time on manual administration while keeping grading accurate and up to date.

How to use it

  • Update learner grades directly from the Edit progress panel. For more information, see the Manage the progress of assessments section in this article.
  • If you use integrations, leverage the public API to manage grading scales and retrieve assessment results for reporting or analytics.

Performance

Career Framework (Beta): Build clearer career paths across your organization

Available in: Scale • Transform

Career growth starts with a clear framework. Career Framework (Beta) helps organizations define job families, career paths, roles, and levels in one consistent structure, creating a strong foundation for career development today while preparing for future development planning capabilities.

Career Framework is currently available as an invite-only beta, with the complete end-to-end experience planned for a future release alongside Development Plans.

Why it matters

  • Create consistent career paths across your organization.
  • Define job families, job roles, and levels in one structured framework.
  • Assign employees to roles and levels directly within the platform.
  • Import and maintain your framework using a structured template, creating a scalable foundation for career conversations and employee growth.

How to use it

  • Open the Org tab and select Career Framework (when enabled for your environment).
  • Import your framework using the provided template for job families, career paths, and job roles.
  • Review your framework, assign employees to roles and levels, and publish it when you're ready.

Additional Improvements

Managing learning content is now more flexible with several enhancements to Training Management.

Archive, restore, and permanently remove training

Catalog administrators can now easily switch between active and deleted training directly from the Training Management page.

This allows administrators to:

  • restore archived courses and training plans when needed,
  • review learner progress and reports for deleted training,
  • permanently purge training that is no longer required.

Reports can also now be generated for deleted (archived) training, providing continued visibility into historical learning data when needed.

For more information, see the View deleted (archived) training section in this article.

Why it matters

These improvements give administrators greater control over the complete lifecycle of learning content while helping keep training catalogs clean, organized, and compliant.

Save time with personalized Training Management views

Administrators can now save their preferred Training Management filters as their personal default view.

Once configured, those filters are automatically applied each time Training Management is opened, making recurring administration tasks faster and more efficient.

For more information, see the Sort, filter, and search for training section in this article.

Why it matters

Reducing repetitive setup allows administrators to focus more on managing learning and less on navigating the platform.

Streamline instructor-led training administration

Managing instructor-led training sessions is now more efficient.

Administrators can filter sessions by both instructor and time window to quickly find the sessions they're looking for. Frequently used filter combinations can also be saved as default views for even faster access.

For more information, see the Filter by time frame and instructor section in this article.

Why it matters

Improved filtering helps administrators manage instructor-led training more efficiently, particularly in larger learning environments.

Expanded Learn functionality in Microsoft Teams

The Learn experience within the unified Zensai app in Microsoft Teams continues to expand.

Administrators, line managers, and learners now have access to additional Learn functionality directly within Teams, including administration capabilities, manager experiences, and settings - bringing more of the Zensai platform into the flow of everyday work.

To learn more more about the unified Zensai app, see this article.

Why it matters

Providing more functionality directly within Microsoft Teams creates a more seamless experience, reduces context switching, and helps users stay productive in the applications they use every day.
