Introduction
If your organization has purchased a Zensai training package, catalog admins can import the package directly into a Learn365 catalog without contacting Zensai Support.
The import runs in the background, so you can continue working in Learn365 while content is processed. Once imported, Zensai-provided courses can be managed alongside all other training on the Training Management page.
This article explains how to import a Zensai training package, find imported Zensai-provided content, and review import activity in the audit trail.
Who can import Zensai training packages?
Catalog admins can import Zensai training packages into catalogs they manage, provided the organization is licensed to receive the content.
NOTE
The Import courses > Zensai option is displayed only when your organization is licensed to receive the content. If you believe your organization should have access to Zensai-provided content but don't see this option, contact your Zensai account representative.
Import a Zensai training package
1. Go to the Learn365 Admin Center > select a catalog > Training Management. The Training Management page opens.
2. Select Import courses > Zensai. A confirmation message opens.
The message explains that this action will import all Zensai training materials into the current catalog. All imported content will be created in an unpublished state. The import runs in the background, but you'll see a notification once it’s completed.
3. Select Confirmation to start the import, or Cancel.
The import starts immediately as a background process. You can continue working in Learn365 while the import runs.
A notification confirms when the import starts and when it successfully completes. A notification is also displayed if the import fails. For more information, see If an import fails.
What is imported?
A successful import adds the following content to the current catalog:
- The training plan structure included in your Zensai package.
- All courses included in the package.
- Any associated training metadata.
All imported content is created in the Unpublished state.
Review and publish the imported training when you're ready to make it available to learners. Imported courses and training plans can be managed from the Training Management page in the same way as other catalog content. For more information, see Find imported Zensai training.
Re-run an import
You can run the import again at any time. For example, you might choose to re-run the import after receiving updated training content from Zensai.
When you re-run an import:
- Existing imported content is updated.
- Duplicate courses aren't created.
- Learn365 checks that your organization is licensed to receive the content.
- Only content your organization is licensed to receive is imported.
If an import fails
Zensai package imports use an all-or-nothing approach.
If the import fails:
- No imported content remains in the catalog.
- Partial changes are automatically reverted.
- The catalog is returned to its previous state.
To try again, see Import a Zensai training package.
If the issue persists, contact Zensai Product Support.
Find imported Zensai training
After a successful import, Zensai courses are displayed alongside all other training in the catalog. To display only Zensai-provided content:
1. Go to the Learn365 Admin Center > select a catalog > Training Management. The Training Management page opens.
2. From the Select Filter drop-down, select the Content from Zensai checkbox in the Other section.
The training list updates to show only training imported from a Zensai package.
The Content from Zensai filter can be used together with other filtering and search options to help you locate imported training more easily.
Audit trail
Imports and updates performed through the Zensai import process are recorded in the Learn365 audit trail.
Audit entries record:
- The imported or updated training item.
- The user who performed the action.
- When the action occurred.
This information can help organizations track content changes and support governance and compliance requirements.
