Install Learn365
IMPORTANT
For tenants that are hosted in the US Government Azure Cloud, the installation procedure is the same except for the location of the installer URL. The URL is provided by a Learn365 representative.
There are two approaches you can take to install Learn365:
- Microsoft Marketplace installation: Learn365 is verified with Microsoft Marketplace, which enables you to install our solution from their site.
-
Direct installation: You can access the secure Learn365 installation directly and follow a streamlined process.
Prerequisites
While any user from your organization can install Learn365, only Microsoft 365 global admins can accept the needed permissions on behalf of the whole organization during the installation process.
If someone other than a Microsoft 365 global admin installed Learn365, a Microsoft 365 global admin can accept the permissions for the whole organization during their first login to Learn365.
Microsoft Marketplace installation
NOTE
Microsoft Marketplace installation isn't applicable to tenants in the US Government Azure Cloud. Reach out to your Zensai account manager for further details.
1. Go to the Microsoft Marketplace: https://marketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/product/saas/elearningforce.lms365_spfx_paid?tab=Overview
For information about purchasing a SaaS offer in the Azure portal, see this Microsoft documentation.
For information about SaaS subscription lifecycle management, see this Microsoft documentation.
2. Select Get it now and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
3. Complete the form and update the pre-filled fields, if necessary. Select the checkbox to grant Microsoft permissions.
4. Select Continue.
5. Select the relevant Plan from the drop-down then select Subscribe.
6. You'll be directed to install Learn365 on your Microsoft 365 tenant and start the Learn365 provisioning process.
7. Select Configure account now.
The further steps are described in Direct installation.
Direct installation
New customers start the installation process by either going to https://lms.365.systems or being redirected from Microsoft Marketplace. In both cases, the customers sign in to their Microsoft accounts. After signing in:
1. Accept the Zensai permissions.
You may be prompted to consent to these permissions twice, depending on your browser and browser settings.
Microsoft 365 global admins can also select Consent on behalf of your organization to accept the permissions for the whole organization. This way, users from this organization won’t have to accept these permissions when using Learn365. If a Microsoft 365 global admin doesn’t accept the permissions for the whole organization, or someone other than a Microsoft 365 global admin installs Learn365, every user from the organization will need to accept the permissions during their first log in to Learn365.
An application marked as publisher verified (a blue “verified” icon) shows that the publisher has verified its identity using a Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) account that has completed the verification process, and has associated this MPN account with their application registration.
2. To start the Learn365 provisioning process, select Get Started.
TIP
The chatbot and live chat option can be accessed during the installation process by selecting the Help icon at the bottom of the page or the dialogue icon (indicated by speech bubbles) in the top right-hand corner of the page.
3. Select the Microsoft Azure Data Center in which Learn365 will be provisioned. We recommend you select either the region in which your Microsoft 365 tenant was provisioned or the data center nearest to you.
To find the location (region) of your Microsoft 365 tenant, see this Microsoft article.
4. Select Next.
5. Confirm your choice of region or go back to select a different one.
IMPORTANT
Once you proceed, the only way you can change the region is by raising a support ticket with the Zensai Product Support.
The following screen is displayed when Learn365 provisioning has started.
Typically, Learn365 provisioning takes up to seven minutes.
6. After the provisioning completes, you’ll be redirected to the Learn365 Admin Center, where you’ll need to activate your Learn365 subscription.
