IMPORTANT
- Setting up the integration between Learn365 and Microsoft Entra ID is available for tenants that installed Learn365 after the June 8, 2026 Learn365 release (version 3.74). For tenants that installed Learn365 before this date, the integration is enabled by default. Therefore, the Learn365 Admin Center > All catalogs > Global settings > LMS configuration > Microsoft 365 integrations aren't visible to tenants with earlier Learn365 installations.
- We recommend setting up the integration with Microsoft Entra ID as the first step after installing Learn365 and activating your subscription.
- After the integration is successfully set up, it can't be disconnected.
This article describes the specifics of the Microsoft Entra ID integration and the process of integrating Learn365 with Microsoft Entra ID.
Microsoft Entra ID integration vs. no integration: what’s the difference?
By integrating Learn365 with Microsoft Entra ID, you allow Learn365 to access user profiles and group data within your Microsoft Entra category. This enables:
- Adding Microsoft Entra user groups and managing their learning progress within Learn365.
- Automatically updating user and user group details in Learn365 if they’re changed in Microsoft Entra.
- Keeping the organizational hierarchy set in Microsoft Entra, taking departments and managers into account while working with Learn365.
- Inviting external users (guests) to Learn365.
- Managing API keys in the Learn365 Admin Center.
Integrate Learn365 with Microsoft Entra ID
Required role: Microsoft 365 global admin.
1. Go to the Learn365 Admin Center > All catalogs > Global settings > LMS configuration > Microsoft 365 integrations > select Connect on the Entra ID tile.
Alternatively, you can select Accept on the pop-up message at the top of the pages that require the Microsoft Entra integration, for example, Global Settings > Administration > API key management.
2. Sign in to your Microsoft account and accept the Zensai permissions.
When the integration is enabled, the green Connected status is displayed on the Entra ID tile.
In case of errors, the red error text is displayed.
NOTE
If you set up multiple organizations (environments) within a single Learn365 tenant, the integration will be enabled for all existing and future environments.
