What's New in the Human Success Platform, October 2026

Welcome to the October 2026 edition of What’s New!

You already rely on Zensai to help people learn, grow, and succeed. This month, we’re building on that experience with new ways to make learning more personal, accessible, and connected.

From conversational support across learning and performance to AI-generated content that reflects your organization’s voice, the latest updates help employees find relevant guidance and make it easier for learning teams to create consistent experiences.

You can also collect targeted feedback for individual courses, offer eligible Go1 content in more languages, and give learners a simpler way to find the right instructor-led session.

Let’s dive in.

Learning

Bring your brand voice into AI-generated learning

Creating learning content with AI can save valuable time. Now, that content can also better reflect the way your organization communicates.

With Brand Voice in Content365 Authoring, you can define preferences such as tone of voice, terminology, writing style, and default language. These preferences help AI-generated content stay closer to your organization’s communication standards from the start.

When generating a course with AI or transforming a document into learning content, authors can choose whether to apply the saved Brand Voice. Brand Voice is also applied when generating screens with AI.

This gives authors a stronger first draft and reduces the time needed to adjust language and terminology after content has been generated. It also helps create a more consistent learner experience, even when courses are produced by different authors or teams.

For organizations working across regions, the default-language setting provides an additional way to keep AI-generated content aligned with the language used for learning.

Start exploring: Open Brand Kit > Brand Voice in Content365 Authoring and define how your organization should sound. When generating a course with AI or transforming a document, use the Use Brand Voice option to apply your saved preferences.

Turn learner feedback into better training

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

Understanding how learners experience a specific course can help you make meaningful improvements to future training.

With course-level surveys, you can create and manage surveys for individual courses directly from the course configuration. This makes it possible to ask questions that relate to the content, format, and outcomes of a particular learning experience.

Surveys can be delivered before a course starts, immediately after completion, and/or at a scheduled interval afterwards. A pre-course survey can also be made mandatory when you need learner input before the remaining course content becomes available.

Multiple choice, true or false, short answer, ordering, and rating-scale questions give you the flexibility to collect different types of feedback. Depending on the purpose of the survey, responses can be anonymous or connected to the learner’s identity.

Surveys can also be shared and reused across courses and catalogs. This helps you establish a consistent approach to feedback without recreating the same survey for every course. Reporting connects responses with the relevant course information, making it easier to understand the feedback in the context of the learning experience.

The result is more relevant insight that can help you understand learner expectations, evaluate individual courses, and identify where training can be improved.

Start exploring: Open the relevant course configuration and go to the Content section. From there, create a new course-level survey or assign an eligible existing survey.

Reach more learners without managing multiple course versions

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

Supporting a multilingual workforce shouldn’t mean creating and maintaining a separate version of the same course for every language.

With Go1 Intelligent Translations, eligible Go1 courses can be presented in different languages without requiring separate course imports. When an available translation matches the learner’s browser language, that version of the course is displayed. If a matching translation isn’t available, the learner sees the course in its default language.

For learners, this provides easier access to supported training in a language that matches their browser preference.

For admins, the translated experiences remain connected to a single course in Learn365. This means there is no need to manage separate course registrations, completion records, certificates, and reporting records for each available language.

Intelligent translations are currently available for eligible Go1 courses and content providers that support the capability.

Start exploring: Search the Go1 Content Hub for courses that support Intelligent Translations. Eligible courses can be imported through the existing Content Hub import and synchronization process.

New UI Updates

Modern UI Now Standard Across the Human Success Platform

The modern user interface is now the standard experience across the platform, including SharePoint web parts and the Microsoft Teams app. With this transition complete, all preview feature toggles for UI selection have been removed, and users can no longer switch back to the legacy interface. This change reflects our ongoing commitment to a cohesive, intuitive and future-ready Human Success Platform

Find and join instructor-led sessions more easily

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

Finding an instructor-led course is only the first step. Learners also need an easy way to identify the session that works best for them.

Learners can now see all available upcoming sessions directly from the instructor-led course page. They can filter the list to focus on their own sessions or explore all available sessions, making it easier to compare the options.

sesssions.gif

Learners can register directly from a session card, with their selected session already identified when the registration panel opens. If no suitable session is currently available, they can join a waiting list when this option is offered. Clearer date and time information also makes it easier to understand when each session takes place.

Together, these improvements create a more direct journey from discovering instructor-led training to securing a place. Learners can review their options and take action from the same experience, with fewer steps and less navigation.

Start exploring: Open an instructor-led course and review the upcoming sessions on the course page.

Create a more focused course catalog

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

A well-structured catalog helps learners spend less time searching and more time learning.

New catalog display controls give admins more flexibility over how training is presented. You can choose whether to display the All training section and select either a prominent or compact search bar layout.

These options make it easier to shape the discovery experience around a particular audience. For example, you can create a more curated catalog that directs attention toward featured categories or use a compact search layout to make better use of the available space.

Because the settings apply to the current catalog view, different catalog experiences can be configured for different audiences and use cases.

Start exploring: Review the settings in your Learn365 catalog web part and select the display options that best support how your learners should discover training.

Skills - Make changes to your skills framework with greater confidence

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

Skills can be connected to users, training, target skill rules, and other areas of Learn365. Understanding these relationships helps you keep your skills framework current, and see the potential impact of any changes.

The updated Manage Skills experience brings this information together in dedicated management panels. Administrators can view, edit and delete connections between skills, users, and training.

The Manage Skill Level Sets experience also shows which skills use a selected level set.

This gives admins a clearer view of the potential impact of a change before they make it. Instead of searching for connections across different areas, they can review the relevant dependencies directly within the skills experience.

Cross-platform

Meet the Zensai Agent

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

Finding the right support shouldn’t depend on knowing where information is stored.

The new Zensai Agent brings capabilities from Learn365 and Perform & Engage 365 together in one conversational assistant. You can use it to find out what to learn next, review your goals, check your learning progress, and complete other supported actions through conversation.

Instead of navigating between different areas of the platform, you can begin with a question or the task you want to complete. This gives you a simpler way to access relevant learning and performance information when you need it.

By connecting learning, progress, and goals in one experience, the Zensai Agent helps you take a more active role in your development.

Performance

Make performance conversations easier to manage at scale

The Conversations experience in Perform & Engage 365 now gives administrators more flexibility to configure, manage, and report on structured performance and development conversations.

Available in: Grow • Scale • Transform

More flexible campaign setup

When creating a campaign, admins can now define who should automatically act as the reviewer. Reviewer strategy options include the employee’s manager, their manager’s manager, a specific person for a group of employees, or a department administrator. Reviewers are then assigned automatically when the campaign is launched.

Campaigns also support a triannual cadence and a custom reporting period, giving organizations more flexibility to align conversations and the information shown in them with their own performance cycles.

More control as conversations progress

Admins can now move an individual conversation to the next stage when needed, helping keep review cycles moving when administrative intervention is required.

Additionally, 360 Feedback is now its own stage type within a conversation template, and unsubmitted feedbacks don’t prevent the conversation to move to the next stage.

360 stage.gif
The stage introduces a feedbacker role. Feedback can be requested from people such as peers, direct reports, managers, or other selected individuals. Each feedbacker submits their response independently, and feedback can also be provided anonymously when configured that way.

Better visibility into campaign responses

Campaign reporting is now available from the Responses area. Admins can review submitted answers and organize the reporting by conversation stage. Responses can also be exported to Excel by stage, with the export designed to match the columns available in the previous Conversations experience.

The October release also includes scale element calculations and conversation template preview .

Start exploring: Open Conversations in Perform & Engage 365, create or open a campaign, and use the new campaign configuration and reporting options to tailor your review process.

And there’s more

This month also brings additional improvements that make everyday learning administration more flexible.

Admins can control whether external users appear in supported people pickers, update a catalog title and its SharePoint URL from the catalog settings, and import Content365 Microsoft Copilot Training packages directly into Learn365.

The new Learn365 experience also includes accessibility improvements, theme options in the Learn365 player, support for dark mode in additional experiences, and expanded course and training-plan descriptions that make important information easier to discover.

For the complete overview of features, enhancements, technical changes, and resolved issues, explore the Learn365 release notes.
